3D printing materials

With enclosed printers, AMS-HT material handling, and hardened steel and tungsten carbide nozzles, we can print abrasive, flexible, heat-resistant, and fiber-reinforced materials.

Standard materials

PLA

A clean, reliable material for prototypes, display pieces, decorative objects, models, brackets, cosplay parts, and general-use prints.

PETG

A stronger, slightly flexible plastic with better heat and impact resistance than PLA. Great for functional parts that need more durability.

Common uses: Brackets, clips, organizers, light-duty mechanical parts, tool holders, shop fixtures.

ABS / ASA

Durable, heat-resistant plastics suitable for stronger functional parts. ASA is especially useful for parts exposed to sunlight or outdoor conditions.

Common uses: Enclosures, automotive-style parts, outdoor parts, brackets, housings, props, durable fixtures.

Flexible materials

TPU

A rubber-like flexible material available in different hardness levels. Useful for protective parts, grips, gaskets, bumpers, feet, straps, and flexible components.

Common uses: Rubber feet, grips, bumpers, flexible hinges, protective covers, gaskets, wearable parts.

High-temperature & engineering materials

Nylon / PA

A strong, durable engineering plastic with excellent toughness and wear resistance. Ideal for functional parts that need strength and resilience.

Common uses: Mechanical parts, gears, clips, brackets, hinges, jigs, fixtures, workshop parts.

Polycarbonate / PC

A strong, heat-resistant material for tougher applications where PLA or PETG may not be enough.

Common uses: Durable housings, heat-resistant parts, tooling, fixtures, high-strength prototypes.

Fiber-reinforced materials

Carbon-fiber reinforced

Carbon fiber-filled materials are stiff, strong, lightweight, and dimensionally stable. Excellent for rigid functional parts and professional prototypes.

Glass-fiber reinforced

Glass fiber-filled materials offer added strength and stiffness while often being slightly less brittle than some carbon fiber blends.

Specialty & decorative materials

Wood-filled PLA

A PLA-based material blended with wood fibers for a warmer, natural appearance.

Common uses: Decorative objects, signs, ornaments, props, display pieces, art parts.

Silk / metallic-look PLA

Glossy decorative filaments designed for attractive visual finishes.

Common uses: Logos, display parts, trophies, ornaments, cosplay accents, decorative prints.

Translucent materials

Semi-transparent filaments for light-diffusing or decorative applications.

Common uses: LED diffusers, lamp parts, light-up props, display pieces, translucent panels.

Laser cutting & engraving

Custom laser cutting and engraving across a wide range of materials. Material testing may be required before production for plastics, coated materials, fabrics, or unknown composites.

Coated & anodized metals

We can engrave coated metals and certain treated metal surfaces. Bare metal cutting is not available with a CO₂ laser.

Plastics & specialty materials

Some plastics are laser-safe and work beautifully. Others are not safe to cut or engrave, so every material must be verified first.

For safety, we do not cut or engrave materials that release toxic fumes, corrosive gases, or create fire hazards.

Customer-supplied materials

You're welcome to provide your own materials, but they must be laser-safe and suitable for the project. Material testing may be required before production.

Enclosed CoreXY printer suitable for PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA, and select engineering materials.

Bambu Lab H2D

High-performance enclosed printer with AMS-HT capability and tungsten carbide nozzle options for abrasive and advanced materials.

Hardened steel & tungsten carbide nozzles

Used for abrasive materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, glow, wood-filled, and metal-filled filaments.

AMS-HT material handling

Keeps moisture-sensitive and higher-temperature materials in better printing condition during production.
